More than 1150 raids, shells and missiles left about 350 casualties and injuries in 6th consecutive days of military operations in the Eastern Ghouta
Rif Dimashq Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: clashes of the Eastern Ghouta continue for the 6th consecutive day, accompanied by violent and intense shelling by the regime forces and warplanes, causing more casualties and injuries, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented today Sunday the death of 3 citizens in the airstrikes on areas in Douma city, as well as the injury of 10 others with varying degrees of severity, raising to 66 including 13 children under the age of eighteen and 7 citizen women over the age of eighteen, the number of casualties since Tuesday the 14th of November 2017, they are 3 casualties were killed in the rocket shelling on Douma city, and 3 citizens were killed today Sunday in shelling by the regime forces on areas in Mesraba town, while yesterday at least 14 were killed including a child and 4 women; they are 6 casualties including 4 women who were killed in airstrikes on areas in Mdira town, 2 citizens were killed in airstrikes on areas in Harasta city, 4 citizens including a child were killed in missile shelling, believed to be ground-to-ground, on areas in Hazza town, 2 citizens were killed in missiles shelling in Hamuriya city, while 20 citizens were killed on Friday, as a result of shelling by the regime forces on areas in the Eastern Ghouta, while 14 citizens were killed on Thursday, 8 citizens were killed on Wednesday, and 4 others were killed on Tuesday, and in the details documented by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights; the casualties who were killed today are 6 citizens including 4 citizen women were killed by raids on Mdira town, while the casualties who were killed on Friday are 7 citizens including 5 children and a woman were killed by shelling by the regime forces on Douma city, 3 members of the Civil Defense were killed by raids on Douma, 3 other citizens were killed by another raid on Douma city, 4 citizens including a chilled and a woman were killed by raids on Harasta city, and 3 citizens were killed by the bombardment on Arbin city, while the casualties who were killed on Thursday are 5 citizens were killed due to raids carried out by warplanes on areas in Arbin city, and a child died affected by the injury he had by shelling by the regime forces on Arbin city, 3 children were killed by a shell on Beit Sawa town, a citizen woman was killed by rocket shelling on Douma and a man was killed by rocket shelling on Saqba, and a young man was killed by shelling by the regime forces on Ein Tarma town, and two citizens were killed by shelling by the regime forces by missiles on Hamuriya city, and the casualties who were killed on Wednesday, are 4 citizens including two children they were killed by raids targeted areas in Arbin city and a man was killed by rocket shelling on Saqba city, and another was killed by rocket and artillery shelling on Hamuriya city, and 2 citizens were killed by aerial and artillery shelling on Douma city, while the casualties who were killed on Tuesday are 2 citizens were killed in artillery shelling by the regime forces on Arbin city, and two others were killed in shelling by the regime forces on Mdira town, and the number of the wounded has increased to about 281 wounded at least including tens of children and citizen women, some of them are still in serious situation, which may raise the death toll.
And with the continuation of this shelling by the regime forces, the number of the shells that targeted Harasta, Mdira and the clash areas in the vicinity of the Vehicle Department since Tuesday the 14th of November 2017, has increased to 685 shells, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has documented 143 raids targeted areas in Harasta city and Mdira town, and the SOHR also documented 89 raids at least targeted Douma and Arbin cities in the same period, while the number of shells and missiles that are believed to be ground-to-ground which fired by the regime forces and fell on the cities and the towns of Ein Tarma, Douma, Mesraba, Saqba, Hamuriya, Arbin, Ashari Farms, Beit Sawa, Hazza and Kafr Batna, has increased to 236.
