Regime forces and warplanes renew the shelling on the Eastern Ghouta and the number casualties and injuries of today raises to about 35 in Douma and Mesraba
Rif Dimashq province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Eastern Ghouta is still witnessing continued shelling by the regiment forces using artillery shells and missiles believed to be ground-to-ground, in conjunction with airstrikes by warplanes, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the warplanes targeting Harasta city and outskirts of Mdira town by about 15 raids, while it rose to 9, the number of missiles believed to be ground-to-ground launched by the regiment forces on areas in Douma city, in conjunction with the fall of a shell on al-Nashabiyah town in Al-Marja area, while it rose to 8, the number of people who were killed due to the artillery and missile shelling on Douma city and Mesraba town, which are controlled by Jaysh al-Islam in the Eastern Ghouta, and they are: 4 civilians including a child were killed in shelling by the regime forces on Douma city, while the rest were killed in the shelling on Mesraba, also the shelling wounded about 25 others in both areas, and the death toll is expected to rise because there are some people in critical situation.
Also, the clashes continue between the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them against the Islamic Movement of Ahrar al-Sham in areas in the Eastern Ghouta, the clashes are concentrated in the vicinity of the Vehicle Department and other areas within it, amid exchange of targeting between both parties.
