Air and artillery strikes cause casualties and injuries in the countryside Deir Ezzor and SDF continue the offensive east of Euphrates River

Deir Ezzor province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: explosions were heard in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, caused by the fall of shells on areas in Al-Baghuz village and Al-Shafa town, which injured several people including women, while the clashes continue at the outskirts of al-Jerthi al-Gharbi village between the Syria Democratic Forces against the Islamic State organization, where the forces of “Jazeera Storm” Operation are trying to gain control of the village and achieve more advancement on the eastern banks of Euphrates River, after being able in the past days to control villages and towns starting from al-Busayrah town to the outskirts of al-Jerthi al-Gharbi, and the clashes are accompanied by targeting in the clash areas which caused casualties in the ranks of both parties, also warplanes (whose identity is unknown whether they were Russian warplanes or International Coalition’s warplanes) carried out raids and targeted areas in the towns and villages of Al-Baghuz, Madrasah, al-Susah, and Al-Safafneh, which caused material damage but no information about casualties, while 2 men were killed and another were wounded after being targeted by a drone in al-Quriyah area, also a man was killed by a mine explosion in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.
