After being surrounded by the regime forces in the west bank, the Syria Democratic Forces besiege the “Islamic State” organization in the east bank of Euphrates River

Deir Ezzor Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syria Democratic Forces continue their military operations in the east bank of Euphrates River after 5 days of days of stopping, where the clashes broke out today in places in the area between the Syria Democratic Forces against the ” Islamic State, as a apart of the “Jazeera Storm” Operation, which was started on the first third of September 2017, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the Syria Democratic Forces making a significant advancement in the area by reaching the Syrian–Iraqi border starting from al-Kashmeh oilfield, where the Syria Democratic Forces were able through this advancement to surround the area and besiege members of the “Islamic State” organization in the triangle of Bokamal – al-Tank fields – Syrian-Iraqi border, this strategic advancement also enabled them to split the presence of the “Islamic State” organization in what is left for it from the east bank of Euphrates River into two pockets.

The Syria Democratic Forces had reached a place less than 20 kilometers away from the Bokamal city on the 15th of November 2017, also the Syria Democratic Forces had achieved an important advancement in the period between the 11th of November 2017 and the 18th of the Same month, where they took control of the entire area from Al-Busayrah until the outskirts of al-Jerthi al-Gharbi village, which includes the towns and villages of Al-Busayrah, Abriha, al-ShHil, al-Hwaij, Thiban, al-Tayyana, Swidan, Jazeerah and Darnaj.
