10 days after residential compound massacre in Al-Sha’fa town, the warplanes kill 24 civilians including 14 children and women in Al-Jarzi town massacre on the same banks of the Euphrates

Deir Ezzor province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:: the death toll in Al-Jarzi massacre is still increasing, as more civilians are dying and more dead bodies are found, where it rose to 24, the number of civilians who were killed and documented by the SOHR in shelling by Russian warplanes on areas in Al-Jarzi town on the eastern banks of the Euphrates River,  today Wednesday the 6th of December 2017, and the martyrs included 10 children and 4 women, while the death toll is expected to increase due to the presence of injured people in serious conditions, and the aerial shelling also caused material damage to the citizens’ properties.

The SOHR documented on the 36th of November 2017 the death of at least 53 people who were killed in a massacre in the town of Al-Sha’afah, including 21 children below the age of 18 and 12 women, where the search for survivors is still ongoing under the rubble of the targeted residential compounds, which was completely destroyed in Al-Shaafah town, which is opposite to the area of Al-Sayyal, which was the last pocket of ISIS west of the Euphrates, of which the regime forces and their allied militiamen managed to control today the 6th of December 2017, and the shelling also injured dozens of the residents of the residential compounds, which was completely destroyed.
