The regime forces take the control of a new village in the north-east of Hama and increase the number of the villages and the towns they controlled to 33 during about 7 weeks of the clashes and the bombardment

Hama Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the violent fighting is still continuing, in the north-eastern countryside of Hama, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the violent clashes are still continuing as a result of the continuation of the violent attack by the regime forces on the area, as a part of the attempt of the regime forces to increase their scope of control, in which the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored that the regime forces managed to advance again at the expense of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and the factions, and they took the control of Al-Zafiriyyah village, to increase the number of the villages that the regime forces controlled during the past 24 hours to 3 villages, they are Al-Bulail, Al-Zafiriyyah and Om Khuzaim.

These clashes were accompanied by violent raids and intensive shelling monitored by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights on the villages of Abu Dali, Al-Shatib, Umm Turaykiyah and al-Shakuziyyeh, in conjunction with violent fighting that is taking place between Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and the factions against the regime forces backed by armed militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities, as a result of the ongoing efforts of the later to reach Abu Dali village they lost few weeks ago, in an attempt to take the control of al-Shakuziyyeh village.

And the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published that the control of the both villages came after successive failures by the regime forces to take the control of these two villages, while the warplanes carried out more than 120 raids yesterday, targeting Al-Bulail, Al-Rahjan, Al-Shatib, Al-Zafiriyyah and Om Khuzaim, and this control and heavy airstrikes were accompanied with wide-scale displacement of citizens, where cross sources confirmed to the SOHR that the most of the residents of the clash areas and nearby areas were displaced, some of them moves towards Idlib, while some others live in the streets in the countryside of Hama, where the violent battles in this countryside rose the number of displaced, rising to more than 58 thousand civilians who fled the clash areas and other nearby areas towards the southern and southeastern countryside of Idlib, and towards other areas in the northern countryside of Hama, while tens of civilians were killed and injured in artillery, missiles and aerial shelling, where the factions and Tahrir Al-Sham carried out rebel attack on Al-Bulail and Um Khazim in an attempt to prevent the regime forces from establishing their control in the area and to retake control over areas they lost, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored that the regime forces managed to advance in positions and points in the villages of Al-Shatib and Al-Zafariya, while the targeting operations continue in the area. With this heavy shelling of warplanes, it rose to more than 1720, the number of raids carried out by warplanes and helicopters on areas controlled by the factions and Tahrir Al-Sham since the 22nd of October 2017. The regime forces fired hundreds of missiles and shells at areas in the towns and villages of the northeastern countryside of Hama, while the regime forces managed to expand their areas of control, so they controlled since last October, the areas of Al-Bulai, Um Khazim, Al-Shahatiya, Al-Mastariha, Jub Abyad, Rasm Abu Myal, Rasm Al-Sewan, Rasm Al-Sawy, Rasm Al-Ahmar, Rasm Al-Tina, Abu Lafa, Marijab Al-Jamlan, Al-Kahfiya, Sham Al-Hawa, Al-Rehraha, Sarha, AbuAl-Ghar, Baghidid, Al-Mushairfa, Jawida, Hasrat, Khirbet al-Rahjan, Hasnawy, Muweileh Shamali, Qasr Ali, Qasr Shawi, Tel Mahsar, Al-Rabiyah, Douma, Rabda, Al-Hazm and Arafah.
