Due to lack of food and medicine in the Ghouta, another child dies
Rif Dimashq Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: A baby died in the Eastern Ghouta, due to the lack of food and medicine in the Ghouta which is besieged by the regime forces, also the regime forces targeted by more than 16 shells places in the Nashabiyah town and its outskirts in the Eastern Ghouta, which caused material damage, also the regime forces targeted this evening places in Ein Tarma town in the Eastern Ghouta, amid violent clashes in places at the outskirts of the area between Rahman Corps against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, and the Syrian Observatory published hours ago that the the shelling by the regime forces on the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus is continuing, in which the regime forces targeted today, Thursday, Hamouriyah, Zamlka, Ein Tarma, Douma and Misraba, in which the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored shelling by 4 shells hit Ein Tarma town which killed a woman and her child girl, while 3 others were injured, and the regime forces fired a shell on an area in Zamlka city, which killed a citizen woman and injured 3 other citizens including a child, while Douma city was shelled by a shell leaving 4 wounded, and a shell fell on Misraba town which injured a citizen woman.
And the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published this morning, that a month of escalating the shelling on the Eastern Ghouta is completed today the 14th of December 2017, by shelling similar to that one which it was started with, which killed and injured more citizens, as the regime force targeted this morning Zamlka city which is the stronghold of Al-Rahman Corps in the Eastern Ghouta, which killed a citizen woman and injured 3 other citizens including a child, as well as their targeting to Ein Tarma town in the western outskirts of the Eastern Ghouta, also controlled by Al-Rahman Corps, which killed a woman and her child, and 3 others at least were injured with varying severity, while areas in Jobar neighborhood, in the eastern outskirts of the capital, were shelled by the regime forces, and no information about casualties was reported, while 4 citizens were injured in shelling by the regime forces on areas in Douma city which is the stronghold of Jaysh Al-Islam, in which his shelling rose the number of the strikes hit the cities and the towns of the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus, in which the regime forces targeted Harasta city and Mdira town with the vicinity of the Vehicle Department by more than 1086 shells and missiles believed to be ground-to-ground, which have targeted Harasta and Mdira in the Eastern Ghouta since Tuesday the 14thof November 2017, and the SOHR has also documented that 237 raids at least targeted Harasta city and Mdira town since Tuesday, and the SOHR has also documented 191 raids at least hit the cities of Douma, Arbin and Zamlka as well as other areas in the Eastern Ghouta in the same period, while the number of shells and missiles that are believed to be ground-to-ground, fired by the regime forces and fell on the cities and the towns of Ein Tarma, Douma, Misraba, Saqba, Hamouriyah, Arbin, Ashari Farms, Beit Sawa, Hazza and Kafr Batna, has increased to 494.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death and the injury of hundreds of citizens, the latest of which was documented today with completing the military escalation on the Eastern Ghouta its first month, in which in which the death toll has increased to 209 casualties including 49 children under the age of eighteen, 23 citizen women over the age of eighteen and 4 members of the Civil Defense, the number of people whose death has been documented since the 14th of November 2017, until today the 14th of December 2017, in which the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of 129 citizens including 24 children and 15 citizen women by the raids carried out by the warplanes on the cities and towns of Douma, Harasta, Mdira, Hamouriyah, Arbin, Ein Tarma, and other areas in the Eastern Ghouta, while the SOHR documented the death of 80 citizens including 25 children and 8 citizen women due to shelling by artillery, mortar and tanks, as well as shelling by missiles believed to be ground-to-ground, on the cities and the towns of Kafr Batna, Zamlka, Ein Tarma, Douma, Arbin, Harasta, Jisrayn, Saqba, Beit Sawa, Al-Nashabiyah, Beit Nayem, and other areas in the Eastern Ghouta, and this shelling which has been continuing for a month resulted in the injury of hundreds of citizens, in which the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has documented the injury of about 695 persons including tens of children and citizen women, some of whom have amputated limbs and permanent disabilities, while the others are still suffering serious wounds suffering from the lack of the medical staff and the shortage of medicine.
