The clashes are ongoing south of Aleppo within the advancement operations of the regime forces towards the eastern part of Idlib countryside

Aleppo – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:: fighting is still taking place between the regime forces and their allied militiamen of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities against Islamic and rebel factions and Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham in areas in the southern countryside of Aleppo, where the regime forces are trying to advance with their allied in the area, and control more areas to achieve its goal of reaching the eastern countryside of Idlib and control of Abu Al-Duhur military base.

The SOHR published on Wednesday that the military operation of the regime forces and their allies has completed its 6th consecutive week, it was started on the 2nd of November 2017 through which the regime forces aim to advance and enter the eastern countryside of Idlib Province, and reach Abu Al-Duhur airbase, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the continuation of violent clashes between the regime forces supported by the gunmen loyal to them of Syrian, Arab and Asian nationalities against the rebel and Islamic factions and Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham, and the violent clashes were accompanied by intense shelling by the regime forces by the artillery and rocket shells, amid exchange of targeting in clash areas between both parties, where the regime forces were able to control a village and a hill extending their control in the area, amid counterattacks by the factions trying to regain control of the areas they lost in the southern countryside of Aleppo, the attack was coincided with intense aerial bombardment targeted areas in the southern countryside of Aleppo, and the strikes that targeted Tal al-Daman town have caused the destruction of large parts of the town’s mosque and other property of citizens in the town, but no information about casualties yet, while the regime forces have failed so far to reach the eastern sector of Idlib countryside.
