The aerial and artillery shelling renews targeting the southern countryside of Aleppo with the continuous attempts of the regime forces to reach the eastern countryside of Idlib
Aleppo Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: as a part of renewing the targeting that accompanies the ongoing military operations in the southern countryside of Aleppo, which aim to enter the eastern countryside of Idlib, the regime forces started today the 19th of December 2017, to target areas in Huber village controlled by the factions, in conjunction with raids targeted the areas of Ramla and Siyyala in the same countryside, while the factions fired a number of shells on positions of the regime forces in the villages of Abu Rowil and Muraykis, amid violent clashes, which are still continuing between the regime forces backed by armed militiamen loyal to them of Syrian, Arab and Asian nationalities against Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and the rebel and Islamic factions, amid exchange of targeting on the clash areas, in an attempt by the regime forces to achieve further advancement and end the presence of the organization in the area, these clashes come with approaching the regime’s military operation to complete its 7th week, since it started on the 2nd of November 2017, through which the regime forces are trying to advance and enter the eastern countryside of Idlib, and reach Abu Al-Duhur Military Airbase.
And the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published few days ago, that after the regime forces failed during the past few days to achieve advancement in the area, they turned to increase the scope of the clash fronts, in which they managed to achieve advancement and take the control of 5 villages, they are: Al-Rashadiyah, Ramla, Hijarah, Abaysan and al-Mazra’a, in the new and the old fronts of fighting, amid information about confirmed casualties in the ranks of the both parties, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published then that the military operations are continuing, through which the regime forces are seeking to advance in the area near Khanasir and near the main artery of Aleppo, Aleppo – Khanasir – Ithriyah – Salamiyah Road, and to reach Abu Al-Duhur Military Airbase in the eastern section of Idlib countryside, and with the continuation of these operations since they started at in early November, which witnessed the fall of casualties in the ranks of the both parties, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights received a video shows an execution by fighters said that they are of Jaysh Osama of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, operating in the southern countryside of Aleppo, in which they shot a person who they said that it is a captive of the gunmen loyal to the regime forces, and that they “will carry out the punishment against this infidel, the apostate, the enemy of Allah, who deserve to be killed”, in which they shot him intensively, which caused his immediate death, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also received another video shows the fighter while they were capturing the person who they executed, in which they said that they have captured him in Hijara area in the southern countryside of Aleppo, and asked him ” Sharia questions” before executing him.
