The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that a child died affected by wounds he had in shelling by the regime forces on areas in Ein Tarma town at the western outskirts of the Eastern Ghouta, raising to 212 persons including 50 children under the age of eighteen, 25 citizen women over the age of eighteen and 4 members of the Civil Defense, the number of people whose death has been documented since the 14th of November 2017, until the 18th of December 2017, in which the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of 129 citizens including 24 children and 15 citizen women by the raids carried out by the warplanes on the cities and towns of Douma, Harasta, Madyara, Hamuriya, Arbin, Ein Tarma, and other areas in the Eastern Ghouta, while the SOHR documented the death of 83 citizens including 26 children and 10 citizen women due to shelling by artillery, mortar and tanks, as well as shelling by missiles believed to be ground-to-ground, on the cities and the towns of Kafr Batna, Zamalka, Ein Tarma, Douma, Arbin, Harasta, Jesrin, Saqba, Beit Sawa, Al-Nashabiyah, Beit Nayem, and other areas in the Eastern Ghouta, and this shelling which has been continuing for a month resulted in the injury of hundreds of citizens, in which the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has documented the injury of about 725 persons including tens of children and citizen women, some of whom have amputated limbs and permanent disabilities, while the others are still suffering serious wounds suffering from the lack of the medical staff and the shortage of medicine.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published hours ago that the regime forces continue sporadic shelling on areas in the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus. The regime forces renew shelling on Al-Nashabia town located in Al-Marj area, controlled by Jaysh Al-Islam, causing material damage, and there is no information about human losses.
The SOHR published in the past hours that renewed shelling and repeated targeting are being carried out by the regime forces on the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus, in which the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored that the regime forces targeted areas in Douma city the stronghold of Jaysh Al-Islam, which caused material damage, without information about casualties, this shelling on Douma city, comes after intensive shelling targeted Al-Rahman Corps-held areas during the past 24 hours, in which the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published this morning, that the regime forces fired 5 artillery shells on areas in Ein Tarma town controlled by Al-Rahman Corps, to raise the number of shells that targeted this town during the past 24 hours to 32 shells at least, resulting in the fall of a number of wounded.
