In an operation seems to be a preparation…the regime forces carry out rounds of intensive land shelling on Al-Lataminah and the north of Hama and the factions target a camp where Russian forces are located

Hama Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: for the 5th consecutive day, the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them have been continuing to escalate their shelling, targeting towns and villages in the north eastern countryside of Hama, in which the shelling is concentrated on Al-Lataminah town, which witnesses daily intensive shelling, by tens of missiles and shells, the last one was what the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored today the 22nd of December 2017, in which it monitored intensive artillery and rocket shelling started after the midnight, in which the regime forces are carrying out successive rounds of intensive shelling, and the sources told the SOHR that they suggest that this intensive shelling, which came as a revenge to the attack of the factions on the area of Zilaqiat and Zellin near Al-Lataminah town in the northern countryside of Hama, may be a preparation for an attack by the regime forces on the area in order to advance and take the control of Al-Lataminah area, which is one of the most fortified areas because of its nature and the fortifications that took place earlier by the factions operating in the area, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored that the factions targeted Al-Tarabe’ area near Halfaya north of Hama, where sources confirmed that there is a camp where Russian forces are located.
