Rif Dimashq province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:: The regime forces renewed their shelling on areas in Otaya town in al-Marj area, which is controlled by Jaysh Al-Islam in the Eastern Ghouta, causing material damage, and no information about casualties, while it rose to at least 13 people including 2 children and a woman, the number of martyrs who were killed today in the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus, as a result of air raids and artillery shelling on areas in its cities and towns, where 7 citizens including a child and a nurse were killed in aerial shelling on areas in Harasta city, while 6 citizens including an elderly woman and a girl were killed in shelling by the regime forces on areas in the towsn of Otaya, Kafrbatna, Al-Nashabiyah and Misraba, and the death toll is expected to increase due to the presence of dozens of injured people, including about 29 children and women, some of whom are still serious conditions, rising to 240 civilians who were killed in the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus, including 55 children under the age of eighteen, 28 citizen women over the age of eighteen and 4 members of the Civil Defense, since the 14th of November 2017, in which the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of 140 citizens including 26 children and 16 citizen women by the raids carried out by the warplanes, while the SOHR documented the death of 100 citizens including 29 children and 12 citizen women due to shelling by artillery, mortar and tanks, as well as shelling by missiles believed to be ground-to-ground, while the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has documented the injury of more than 800 persons including tens of children and citizen women, some of whom have amputated limbs and permanent disabilities, while the others are still suffering serious wounds suffering from the lack of the medical staff and the shortage of medicine, as a result of the continuous siege imposed on the Eastern Ghouta.
