Deir Ezzor Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the clashes continue violently between “Jazeera Storm” Operation Forces against members of the “Islamic State” organization, in areas east of Euphrates River in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, where the clashes between both parties are concentrated in the vicinity of al-Sh’aytat area, which includes Gharanij, al-Keshkiyah and Abu Hamam, of which the Syria Democratic Forces hours have controlled hours ago, where the organization is trying to re-advance in the area and regain control of it, and the clashes are accompanied by explosions and exchange of shelling between both parties, amid the flight of Coalition warplanes in the skies of the area and confirmed information about casualties in the ranks of both parties. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published hours ago that it monitored the SDF controlling the towns of al-Keshkiyah, Abu Hamam and Gharanij, to decrease ISIS scope of control to 7 town, villages and their districts, they are: al-Bahra, Hajin, Abu al-Hassan, Sha’afah, Susah, Al-Baghuz, Al-Bobadran and their districts, while the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published two days ago, that “Al-Jazeera Storm” Operation Forces opened a new front in these areas and attacked ISIS from it, so as to cut the supply line of ISIS to the areas of Al-Keshkiyah, Abu Hamam and Gharanij, while it is noteworthy that this fighting and shelling which started again in early December 2017, due to a new attack carried out by the forces of “Al-Jazeera Storm” Operation, resulted in a new displacement towards the SDF-held areas and other areas far from the violent shelling and killing, and the SOHR monitored that the displaced people set up camps where they can stay until the end of the fighting or the control of the organization over their areas and towns- from which they have fled- ends.
