The death toll due to the explosion of Idlib increases to 34 persons at least including 18 citizens most of whom are children and citizen women

Idlib Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: as the hours pass, the number of casualties is continuing to raise as a result of the death of more persons and finding more bodies under the rubbles of the destruction caused by the violent explosion which rocked Idlib city yesterday evening the 7th of January 2018, in which the number of casualties who were killed in the explosion which hit Al-Thalatheen Street in Idlib city, has increased to 34 persons including 18 citizens at least including 11 children at least and 5 citizen women, some of them are of one family, while the death toll is expected to increase as a result of presence of dozens of injured people in serious conditions, in addition to the missing people under the rubble caused by the explosion.

 

While the rescue teams are still searching under the rubbles that caused by the explosion that hit the headquarters of Ajnad al-Quqaz faction (The Caucasian Soldiers), and it is not known until now whether the explosion caused by detonating a booby trapped vehicle or a missile fired by warplane, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored large destruction caused by the explosion, while it worth mentioning that Idlib city witnessed explosions targeted several areas in the city and its outskirts weeks ago, some of which were targeted by vehicles, cars carrying commanders and members of Hayaat Tahrir Al-Sham and other factions supporting it, and these explosions left causalities.
