Targeting the districts of Damascus by shells renews and shelling leaves casualties and wounded in Al-Houla
Homs Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: areas in Taldou town in Al-Houla area in the northern countryside of Homs, were shelled by the regime forces, while the regime forces targeted areas in the same town by heavy machineguns, which caused material damage, and resulted in the death of one person and the injury of others.
Damascus Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the fall of mortar shells renewed on areas in Al-Assad District in the east of the capital which is controlled by the regime forces and which is near Harasta city, which caused material damage, without information about casualties, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published yesterday that 5 persons at least including a woman were killed in the fall of shells launched by the Islamic factions on places in the Old Damascus area in the center of the capital, where about 20 shells landed on areas in the neighborhoods of Bab Tuma, Al Qassa’a, Sheik Reslan, Shaghour and Bab Sharqi in the Old Damascus in the capital, also the targeting have injured other people, some of them were seriously wounded which may raise the death toll, rising to at least of 347, the number of those killed and injured since the 16th of November 2017, where the SOHR documented the death of 49 persons including 4 women and a child, whose death was documented by the SOHR since the 16th of November 2017, where about 300 persons were injured with different severity, and some of them suffer serious injuries, while some of them are still in serious conditions, which may increase the death toll, where they targeted during the past days places in Al-Dawila area, places in Al-Dawila, and Al-Sawika areas, areas of Al-Fahama and Khalid bin al-Walid Street, and other areas in Old Damascus, Al-Zablatany, Al-Mujtahed, al-Fayhaa, Al-Abasyeen, Al-Mayadeen, Seba’ Baharat, Aish Al-Warawar, Jermana, Dahyat Al-Assad, Military Teshereen Hospital and other places in the center of the capital.
