About 115 airstrikes and shells target the cities and towns of the Eastern Ghouta leaving about 17 martyrs and injured

Rif Dimashq province – the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:: warplanes carried out 2 airstrikes on areas in Arbin city in the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus, leaving at least 6 people injured, and the regime forces fired 2 artillery shells at areas in Beit Sawa town, and warplanes shells areas in Madyara town, leaving 1 person killed and 10 others injured with different severity, while it rose to 41, the number of airstrikes that targeted areas in the city of Harasta and its outskirts, within the ongoing escalation of artillery and aerial shelling on the cities and towns of the Eastern Ghouta. The Eastern Ghouta has been witnessing in the past hours shelling of missiles, believed to be ground-to-ground, as well as shelling of about 23 missile and artillery shells that targeted Harasta city, while the regime forces fired at least 30 missiles, believed to be ground-to-ground at areas in Arbin city and its outskirts, and fired at least 8 shells at areas in the town of Hazrama and Beit Nayem in Al-Marj area as well.

Meanwhile, the death toll has increased to 162 citizens including 41 children and 33 citizen women, who have been killed since the 29th of December 2017, and the casualties are 120 citizens including 30 children, 27 citizen women and a male nurse, they were killed in raids by the warplanes on areas in Harasta city controlled by the Islamic movement of Ahrar Al-Sham and raids on Madyara town, and 42 citizens including 6 children and 6 citizen women and 2 male nurses were killed by artillery and rocket shelling targeted areas in Beit Sawa town, the cities of Harasta, Hamuriya, Douma and Arbin as well as the towns of Kafr Batna, Mesraba, Al-Nashabiyah and Otaya, and the aerial and artillery shelling left hundreds of casualties and injured included a large number of children and citizen women, and the death toll may increase because of the presence of serious injuries.
