Under the command of Suhail Al-Hassan, the regime forces and their allies control by firearm Abu Duhur air base and cut its supplying line from a town located in the west of it
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored strategic advancement achieved by the regime forces with their allied of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities, where the regime forces managed to control at least 8 villages and arrive to the southern wall of Abu Duhur air base, and controlled by firearm Tel Salmo area adjacent to the air base, which is higher than the air base, and through this advancement the regime forces managed to prepare to Abu Duhur air base operation so as to control it and achieve a new advancement in the area, and control what is left of the southern countryside of Aleppo and areas north of Abu Al-Duhur.

This advancement comes with morning advancement of the regime forces in 16 villages in the countryside of Abu Dhuhur, in conjunction with withdrawal by Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham from villages in Mount al-Hass in the southern countryside of Aleppo, adjacent the eastern countryside of Idlib, for the fear of being trapped by the regime forces, which was expected by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, in which it published about 72 hours ago, that if the regime forces manage to advance and take the control of it, even though the continuation of the advancement to the north or to move simultaneously from Kafr Haddad area south of Aleppo towards Abu Al-Duhur Military Airbase, then they will impose a siege on Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and the rebel and Islamic factions in about 3000 square km of the eastern countryside of Idlib, the southern countryside of Aleppo and the north-eastern countryside of Hama, through which the regime forces are seeking to their scope of control larger inside the Syrian territory and impose their control over new spaces at the expense of the factions and Tahrir Al-Sham, and provide more protection to the main artery of Aleppo which is Aleppo – Salamiyah – Khanasir Road, which connects Aleppo by land with the middle and the south provinces of Syria.
