Escalated aerial and rocket strikes hit the Eastern Ghouta and shelling leaves casualties and wounded in Homs countryside

Homs Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the regime forces fired a shell on an area in Al-Houla in the northern countryside of Homs, which caused material damage, without information about casualties, while areas in Al-Sa’en Al-Aswad town in the same countryside, were shelled by the regime forces, which caused material damage, and resulted in the death of a person and the injury of others.

Rif Dimashq Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the aerial and artillery shelling renewed on the Eastern Ghouta, as a part of the escalation which has been continuing since the 29th of December 2017, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored shelling by the regime forces targeting areas in Harasta city by more than 10 rocket shells, in conjunction with 13 raids at least targeted areas in Harasta city, and no information about casualties was reported.
