About 15 casualties and wounded in the bombardment on a town controlled by Jaysh Al-Islam in the Eastern Ghouta

Rif Dimashq Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: as a part of the continuation of escalating the shelling on the Eastern Ghouta, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored that the regime forces targeted Hazrma town by a missile believed to be ground-to-ground, in conjunction with shelling by 4 shells on areas in Douma city, amid artillery and rocket shelling on places in Harasta city and its vicinity, while the warplanes carried out 2 raids targeting areas in the outskirts of Madyara town, in conjunction with increasing the number of the raids which targeted Harasta city to about 15 raids, while a man was killed and about 13 other citizens were injured by bombardment by warplanes on areas in Misraba town controlled by Jaysh Al-Islam, and the death toll is expected to increase due to the presence of injuries in serious conditions, thus, the death toll has increased to 168 citizens including 46 children and 37 citizen women, who have been killed since the 29th of December 2017 and until today, and the casualties are 126 citizens including 40 children, 31 citizen women and a male nurse, they were killed in raids by the warplanes on areas in Harasta city controlled by the Islamic movement of Ahrar Al-Sham and raids on Madyara town as well as the cities of Saqba, Hamuriya, Douma and Arbin, and 42 citizens including 6 children and 6 citizen women and 2 male nurses were killed by artillery and rocket shelling targeted areas in Beit Sawa town, the cities of Harasta, Hamuriya, Douma and Arbin as well as the towns of Kafr Batna, Mesraba, Al-Nashabiyah and Otaya, and the aerial and artillery shelling left tens of casualties and wounded included a large number of children and citizen women, and the number of casualties may increase because of the presence of serious injuries.
