After violent clashes started dawn of today, the regime forces and their allies restore most of the areas they lost in the factions’ violent counterattack
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the flight of several helicopters simultaneously in the eastern countryside of Idlib, and carrying out strikes by dropping barrel bombs on areas in Jarjanaz town and other areas in its surroundings, and other places in the eastern countryside of Idlib causing more destruction in the infrastructure and property citizens, while the Syrian Observatory monitored a relative calm returning to the battlefronts in the southeastern countryside of Idlib, after violent clashes between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities against the rebel and Islamic factions, this calm came after the violent clashes that started after a violent attack by fighters of the factions of Nour al-Din al-Zenki Movement, Jaysh Al-Ahrar, Al-Sham Corps, Jaysh al-Izza, the Free Army of Idlib, Jaysh al-Nukhba, al-Jaysh al-Thani, Jaysh al-Nasr, the Islamic Turkestani Party and the Islamic Movement of Ahrar Al-Sham.
The regime forces with their allies of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities managed to re-advance after controlling 12 villages and farms by the factions, where the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them have regained control of the entire areas they lost except the villages of Zarzour, Om al-Khalakhil and Mshirfah Shmali, and the information is still conflicted about who is in control of Atshan village, while the battlefronts and the contact areas between both parties in the southeastern countryside of Idlib; are witnessing exchange of targeting between the regime forces and the factions.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented human losses in the ranks of both parties in these violent battles, exchange of targeting, and heavy shelling in the southeastern countryside of Idlib, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of at least 12 members of the regime forces and their allied militiamen, and others have been injured, while more than 17 other members of the regime forces and allies were captured, while it rose to 19, including 3 commanders, the number of fighters of the faction who were killed and documented so far in the ongoing battles since the dawn until now.
And the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published this afternoon that the factions which started this dawn a violent and counter attack on position of the regime forces and the villages they controlled during the past few days, managed to achieve further advancement in the area, and expand their scope of control, where they regained the control of 9 villages, 2 farms and a checkpoint until now which are: ((Al-Hamdania, Al-Salumiya, Al-Jadu’iyya, Mshirfah Shamali, Al-Khwaiyn, Zarzur, Atshan, Umm Al-Khalakhil, Tell Maraq)), and they also controlled the farms of Al-Hussein and Al-Naddaf Farms as well as Al-Halil checkpoint.
