The regime forces advance in 2 areas in the Eastern Ghouta and control 8 farms and buildings near Harasta city after an attack with an intense fire cover

Rif Dimashq Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the violent clashes continue between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them against fighters of Jaysh al-Islam and the Islamic Movement of Ahrar Al-Sham, in places in the area between Douma and Harasta, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the regime forces advancing in the area and controlling 3 farms in the area, and the clashes were coincided with heavy and intense shelling by the regime forces on the clash areas, amid exchange of targeting between both parties and information about casualties in their ranks, while clashes are taking place between Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham, Ahrar al-Sham and Rahman Corps against the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them in the vicinity of the bus station near the Governorate Building in the vicinity of Harasta, where the regime forces were able to advance in 5 buildings near the bus station, and the clashes on both areas were accompanied by violent and intense shelling and continuous raids by the regime forces and warplanes, which caused more destruction in the property of citizens.

Also it rose to 5 at least including 3 children, the number of persons who were killed in shelling by the regime forces on Hamuriya city’s farms, where the death toll has increased to 179 citizens including 51 children and 38 citizen women, of who were killed since the 29th of December 2017 as a result of targeting the Eastern Ghouta by hundreds of raids and hundreds of artillery and rocket strikes, and the casualties are 126 citizens including 40 children, 31 citizen women and a male nurse, they were killed in raids by the warplanes on areas in Harasta city controlled by the Islamic movement of Ahrar Al-Sham and raids on Madyara town as well as the cities of Saqba, Hamuriya, Douma and Arbin, and 53 citizens including 11 children and 7 citizen women and 2 male nurses were killed by artillery and rocket shelling targeted areas in Beit Sawa town, the cities of Harasta, Hamuriya, Douma and Arbin as well as the towns of Kafr Batna, Mesraba, Al-Nashabiyah and Otaya, and the aerial and artillery shelling left tens of casualties and wounded included a large number of children and citizen women, and the number of casualties may increase because of the presence of serious injuries.
