The eastern and southeastern countryside of Idlib witness counteroffensive attacks between the regime forces and their allies against Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, the Turkistanis and the factions

The countryside of Idlib witnessed on Friday evening continuous violent clashes between the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities against the rebel and Islamic factions, Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham and the Islamic Turkestani Party, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored clashes between both parties in areas in the eastern and southeastern countryside of Idlib, and the factions’ attacks turned into hit-and-run clash between both parties and exchange of control, where the factions are still controlling the villages of Rabiaa and Khribah, as well as the town of Tal Salmo which is adjacent to the Airbase and Zarzour village, while they lost Atshan village once again, along with al-Naddaf Farms and al-Hlil checkpoint. The factions are trying achieving advancement and reach the depth of the areas to which the regime forces controlled in the countryside of Idlib, and the factions’ attack was accompanied by detonating 2 booby trapped vehicle by Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham, one of them was detonated by a Syrian nationality fighter.

The Syrian Observatory for Human rights monitored intensive artillery and rocket shelling, accompanied by violent clashes between both parties, in conjunction with raids by warplanes and dropping barrel bombs by helicopters on the clash areas, and on areas to which the factions advanced in the eastern and southern countryside of Idlib, and information about more casualties in the ranks of both parties, while the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the participation of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham, the Islamic Turkestani Party, Nour al-Din al-Zenki Movement, the Islamic Movement of Ahrar Al-Sham and Jaysh Al-Ezza in the attack on the above-mentioned areas, where the area is witnessing intense shelling by the regime forces in conjunction with aerial bombardment on the clash areas and on the areas to which the factions advanced. This is considered the 2nd counterattack carried out by the regime forces from the west of advancement line of the regime forces in eastern and southeastern countryside of Idlib.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published hours ago that And with the advancement of the regime forces today, in the east and south-east of Abu Al-Duhur Military Airbase, the regime forces has expanded their scope of control to 120 villages at least since they started their violent attack on the 25th of December 2017, they have also expanded their control to 163 villages and towns in the countryside of Idlib and Hama since the 22nd of October 2017, and they are: Al-Ja’kiyyah, Al-Hamidiyah, Hamidiyah Shaddad, Tel Salmo, Zafr Sagher, Zafar Kabir, Al-Dabshiya, Rasm Abed, Talb, Mera’aya, Al-Hisa, Om Jrin, Bayya’a Saghira, Bayya’a Kabira, Jub Abyad, Al-Bowayder, Aqlat Al-Bowayder, Raefah, Aziza, Rasm Nayas, Ras al-Ayn, Rasm Al-Jahsh, Om Tammakh, Rasm Al-Khshuf, Mbawas, Rasm Al-Burj, Rasm Al-Ahmar, Rasm Al-Ayn, al-Jabriya, Khariba, Rasm Al-War, Harmla.
