The regime forces continue the battles south of Aleppo amid counterattacks by Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham in the area
The clashes continue at a violent pace in areas in the southern countryside of Aleppo, between Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham and its supporting factions against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities, in conjunction with the continued missiles shelling on the clash areas, amid conflicted information about who controls Tallat Abu Rwayl, where the regime forces were able to control villages of Huber, Sheikh Khalil and Abu Rwayl Hill hours ago, where the Syrian Observatory published hours ago that the violent clashes are taking place between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities against Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham and its supporting factions, in areas in the southern countryside of Aleppo, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the regime forces advancing in the area and controlling 2 villages in the area located at a distance about 15 km north of Abu Al-Duhur airbase, and the clashes were accompanied by heavy artillery and rocket shelling by the regime forces.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the regime forces starting a military operation and an attack from a new area, after they managed to regain control of tens of villages in the southern countryside of Aleppo, and reaching an area only hundreds of meters away from their forces located in the eastern countryside of Idlib, and if the regime forces were able to advance and reach this forces; then they will be able to besiege about 35 villages controlled by Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham in the southern countryside of Aleppo, and in parts of the northeastern countryside of Hama and the eastern countryside of Idlib adjacent to the administrative border of Aleppo, in addition to besieging the “Islamic State” organization in 45 other villages in the northern eastern countryside of Hama and the outskirts of Idlib countryside, where the regime forces led by the Brigadier Suhail Hasan are carrying out this dividing operation in order to control as much space as possible during the shortest amount of time and with the least possible casualties, also this advancement came after the regime forces and their allies of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities failed to advance in the battle that started from Khanaser area on the 2nd of November 2017.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published 2 days ago that the regime forces continue their advancement operations supported by gunmen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities, in the southern countryside of Aleppo, where they managed to achieve a wide advancement at the expense of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham, which in 4 consecutive days has withdrawn from tens of villages and towns in the southern countryside of Aleppo, and the regime forces were able through this advancement in the last 24 hours; to expand their control in the southern countryside of Aleppo to more than 3 times the number of villages they used to controlled in the southern countryside of Aleppo two days ago, where the regime forces in the last 24 hours have taken control of 79 villages and towns, including the towns of al-Hajib and Tal al-Daman, thus, the regime forces have expanded their control in the southern countryside of Aleppo since the start of advancing in the area to about 115 towns and villages, which were successively controlled after a successive withdrawal of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham from the area.
