Accusations against the Turkish forces of targeting fighters of a rebel battalion in Latakia mountains, and killing and injuring a number of its members near the border with Iskenderun
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned from reliable sources that a fighter from Jisr Al-Shughur city, was killed and 2 other fighters were injured, due to targeting a vehicle they were traveling in, and intersected sources confirmed to the SOHR that the shelling targeted the vehicle while it was passing through a road connecting the western countryside of Jisr Al-Shughur to the northern countryside of Latakia, and the families of the fighters accused the Turkish border guard forces of targeting the vehicle and resulting in the death of a fighter and the injury of 2 other fighters, and the sources confirmed that the fighters who belong to the coastal battalion, were in a tour to feed the fighters on the fronts, and while they were passing through Safiyyat area between the western countryside of Jisr Al-Shughur and the northern mountains of Latakia.
