After less than 24-hours-calm, the regime forces shell the Eastern Ghouta by 40 shells and missiles with clashes in areas between Douma and Harasta

Rif Dimashq Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the shelling returned to the Eastern Ghouta after a calm prevailed the area in terms of clashes on fronts and the artillery shelling, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored shelling by the regime forces with 5 artillery shells, they targeted areas in Otaya town located in Al-Marj area in the Eastern Ghouta, while the regime forces shelled areas in Harasta city and its outskirts, and other areas near Arbin by about 35 missiles believed to be ground-to-ground, while violent clashes took place between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them against fighters of Jaysh al-Islam and the Islamic Movement of Ahrar Al-Sham, on areas in the farms between the cities of Douma and Harasta, amid exchange of targeting in the clash areas between both parties.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published this morning that a cautious calm has been prevailing the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus, since last night and until now, in which the regime forces renewed their rocket shelling last night on the Eastern Ghouta, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published then that the regime forces targeted this evening by 8 missiles believed to be ground-to-ground areas in Arbin city in the Eastern Ghouta, raising to about 20, the number of missiles that targeted the city since this morning, and the shelling this evening, Thursday, caused casualties, where 2 fighters were killed of Rahman Corps.
