3 days after the killing stopped…the regime forces resume their bloodshed and raise the number of the civilian casualties in the Eastern Ghouta to more than 200 persons during 23 days of escalating the shelling
Rif Dimashq Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the regime forces returned to kill citizens in the besieged Al-Ghouta, through renewing their ground shelling in the area, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored since today morning Saturday the 20th of January 2018, that the regime forces targeted by 2 shells, areas in Hamouriyah city controlled by Al-Rahman Corps, which killed 3 citizens and injured 8 others with varying severity, and the number of casualties may increase because of the presence of serious injuries, in which this return of shelling came after the killing stopped since the death of the latest citizen last Tuesday the 16th of January 2018, the warplanes also bombed areas in Harasta city which witnessed intensive shelling during the past 24 hours by about 40 artillery shells and missiles believed to be ground-to-ground.
And with the death of more citizens, the death toll increases of 201 citizens including 56 children and 39 citizen women, of who were killed since the 29th of December 2017 as a result of targeting the Eastern Ghouta by hundreds of raids and hundreds of artillery and rocket strikes, and the casualties are 128 citizens including 41 children, 31 citizen women and a male nurse, they were killed in raids by the warplanes on areas in Harasta city controlled by the Islamic movement of Ahrar Al-Sham and raids on Madyara town as well as the cities of Saqba, Hamouriyah, Douma and Arbin, and 73 citizens including 15 children and 8 citizen women and 2 male nurses were killed by artillery and rocket shelling targeted areas in Beit Sawa town, the cities of Harasta, Hamouriyah, Douma and Arbin as well as the towns of Kafr Batna, Mesraba, Al-Nashabiyah, Otaya and Mesraba.
