Intensive aerial and artillery shelling targets 4 cities in the Eastern Ghouta leaving more casualties and wounded

Rif Dimashq Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the aerial and rocket shelling on the Eastern Ghouta is continuing, in which the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored that the warplanes carried out 4 raids at least targeting areas in Arbin city controlled by Al-Rahman Corps, and the warplanes also targeted areas in Zamlka city the stronghold of Al-Rahman Corps, while the regime forces shelled areas in Douma city by several shells which fell on one of the markets in the city, which killed one person at least and injured others including children, and the number of casualties may increase because of the presence of serious injuries, while it has increased to 4, the number of casualties who were killed by shelling by the regime forces on areas in Hamouriyah city, and the warplanes have carried out more than 10 raids since morning on areas in Harasta city, in conjunction with artillery shelling by more than 22 shells fell on the same areas, which caused more material damage and destruction, without information about casualties.

And with the death of more citizens, the death toll increases of 203 citizens including 56 children and 39 citizen women, of who were killed since the 29th of December 2017 as a result of targeting the Eastern Ghouta by hundreds of raids and hundreds of artillery and rocket strikes, and the casualties are 128 citizens including 41 children, 31 citizen women and a male nurse, they were killed in raids by the warplanes on areas in Harasta city controlled by the Islamic movement of Ahrar Al-Sham and raids on Madyara town as well as the cities of Saqba, Hamouriyah, Douma and Arbin, and 75 citizens including 15 children and 8 citizen women and 2 male nurses were killed by artillery and rocket shelling targeted areas in Beit Sawa town, the cities of Harasta, Hamouriyah, Douma and Arbin as well as the towns of Kafr Batna, Mesraba, Al-Nashabiyah, Otaya and Mesraba.
