Raids and shelling by the regime forces claimed the lives of 8 citizens in 3 cities controlled by Al-Rahman Corps and Jaysh Al-Islam in the Eastern Ghouta
Rif Dimashq province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:: the aerial and missile shelling on the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus, leave more people killed and injured, where it rose to at least 8 people, including a child, the death toll of civilians killed in aerial and missiles shelling on the cities of Hamuriyah, Douma, Zamlka, and the martyrs are 4 people were killed in artillery shelling on Hamuriyah city, and 3 including a member of the Civil Defense, who were killed in artillery shelling on Douma city, and a child was killed by raids on areas in Zamlka city, while the number of raids carried out by the warplanes has increased to 16, targeting areas in Harasta and its outskirts since this morning, in addition to the fall of more than 30 shells and missiles believed to be ground-to-ground on place in the city and its outskirts. Areas in the outskirts of the towns of Arabin and Ein Terma, while the number of raids rose to 4 in the outskirts of Arbin and Ein Tarma, while the death toll is expected to be increased in the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus, due to the presence of injured people in serious conditions.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored from the 27th of December until the 29th of the same month that the Red Crescent accomplished the evacuation of the medical conditions and the abductees, from the besieged Eastern Ghouta of Damascus, and thus, the number agreed within the “sick and abductees” deal between the regime authorities and Jaysh Al-Islam has completed, the deal which included the release of 29 abductees who were arrested by Jaysh Al-Islam, in return for allowing 29 medical conditions to get out of the Eastern Ghouta to receive treatment in the capital Damascus.
Thus, the death toll rose to 206 citizens including 57 children and 39 citizen women, the number of people who were killed since the 29th of December 2017 as a result of targeting the Eastern Ghouta by hundreds of raids and hundreds of artillery and rocket strikes, and the casualties are 129 citizens including 41 children, 31 citizen women and a male nurse, they were killed in raids by the warplanes on areas in Harasta city controlled by the Islamic movement of Ahrar Al-Sham and raids on Madyara town as well as the cities of Saqba, Hamuriya, Douma and Arbin, and 77 citizens including 15 children and 8 citizen women and 2 male nurses were killed by artillery and rocket shelling targeted areas in Beit Sawa town, the cities of Harasta, Hamuriya, Douma and Arbin as well as the towns of Kafr Batna, Mesraba, Al-Nashabiyah, Otaya and Mesraba.
