A sudden interruption of the “Turkish” internet on the Syrian North and accusations against Turkey of “blacking out” what is going on in Afrin and the north of Aleppo

Sources told the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that the connection of the internet used in the Syrian North, which the Turkish internet is its source, has been lost since after the midnight of Saturday – Sunday, before it returned this morning too slowly for a section of users, while other sections of the users of this network are not able to use it due to the outages of it in the areas where they are located.

The outages of this internet, comes with the military operation which is being carried out by the Turkish forces and the rebel and Islamic factions operating within “The Euphrates Shield” Operation, against the Syria Democratic Forces in Afrin area in the north-western section of Aleppo province, whose pace was increased yesterday Saturday the 20th of January 2018, after the Turkish warplanes carried out their first strikes targeting Afrin city and a large number of villages and areas intensively, which resulted in the fall of casualties and wounded, and citizens and activists from Afrin area and Aleppo countryside accused the Turkish authorities of imposing a blackout of what is going on within the military operation, and not allowing them to pass on the accelerated field developments in Afrin city and its countryside and the northern countryside of Aleppo.
