After the death of 16 members of them by a surprising attack…the regime forces and the warplanes continue their operations in Jisr Al-Shughur area on Latakia border

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the death of 16 members and officers of the regime forces in the mountains of Latakia, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights; 16 members at least of the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them including officers, were killed in the clashes which took places about 48 hours in areas in Talat Al-Sarraf in Jabal al-Turkman in the northern countryside of Latakia, as a result of a surprising attack carried out by a group of fighters of the factions operating in the area, the attack also resulted in the fall of injuries in the ranks of the regime forces, as well as the presence of human losses in the ranks of the attackers.

This shelling pushed the regime forces to escalate their targeting to the western section of Idlib countryside, where the shelling targeted areas in Jisr Al-Shughur city and the villages and the towns of Bdama, Al-Najiyeh, Hambushiyah, Marj al-Zohur, Al-Shegher, and the areas on the border with the north-eastern countryside of Latakia, and other areas in Jabal Al-Akrad, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored this morning, shelling by warplanes targeted areas between the towns of Ariha and Jisr Al-Shughur, where the shelling targeted the areas of Muhambal, Bsanqul, Enata and Sanqra, in conjunction with artillery shelling targeted areas in Hambushiyah village and the towns of Al-Nahl and Najiyeh, and no information about casualties was reported yet.
