Shells target areas in Alassad Suburb east of the capital Damascus

Rif Dimashq Province, the Syrian Observatory for human Rights: explosions were heard in the eastern suburbs of the capital Damascus, caused by the fall of shells on areas in Alassad suburb, which caused material damage but no information about casualties, and the Syrian Observatory published a few days ago that the death toll has increased to 61 persons at least including 3 children and 4 citizen women, who were killed as a result of the fall of these shells, and were documented by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights since that this escalation started on the 16th of November 2017, while it has increased to 348 persons who were injured in these daily targeting during 71 consecutive days, including tens of children and citizen women, some of whom have seriously injured and have permanent disability, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also monitored the continuation of the poor health condition of some of the injured people, which may raise the death toll, in which the shells have targeted since the 16th of November 2017, the areas of Al-Dawila, Al-Sawika, Al-Fahama Khalid bin al-Walid Street, and other areas in Old Damascus, as well as places in Al-Zablatany, Al-Qassaa, Bab Touma, Al-Mujtahed, al-Fayhaa, Al-Abasyeen, Al-Mayadeen, Seba’ Baharat, Aish Al-Warawar, Jermana, Dahyat Al-Assad, Military Teshereen Hospital and other places in the center of the capital, which caused material damage to the property of the citizens, buildings and shops in the places where these shells had fallen.
