After they killed 16 citizens today in two massacres…the warplanes continue to escalate their targeting on villages and towns in Idlib province
About 175 civilian casualties about half of them are children and women were killed by bombardment during 35 days of the escalation on Idlib
Idlib Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: despite the massacres committed, the warplanes have not stopped their targeting to cities and towns in the eastern and the southern sections of Idlib countryside, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored that the warplanes carried out renewed airstrikes targeting areas in Saraqeb town and places in Abu Al-Duhur city as well as other areas in Maarat Hermeh town and in the villages of Barsah, Qatrah, Ferwan, Hish and the vicinity of Jobas village, which caused more material damage to the infrastructure and to the property of the citizens, and also caused more material damage to Al-Ihsan Hospital which witnessed damage to the instruments and the equipment of the hospital a week ago, to be targeted again by the warplanes which led it to be out of service again, while the SOHR monitored that the warplanes targeted this morning, places in Soq Al-Batata in the north of Saraqeb town and Abu Al-Duhur town as well as the towns and the villages of Sheikh Idris, Mardikh, Ghadqa, Jarjnaz and Maasaran in the southern, the eastern and the south-eastern countryside of Idlib, were the today’s raids resulted in the death of 16 citizens including 11 casualties who were killed in a massacre in Saraqeb town, and a citizen woman and 4 of her children were killed in a massacre in Maasaran town, and the raids resulted in the fall of a large number of injuries, in which the number of casualties may increase because of the presence of serious injuries, thus, it has increased to 33 citizens including 8 children and 4 citizen women, the number of casualties who were killed during the past 24 hours in raids on Saraqeb, Maasaran, Kafr Nubl and Sheikh Mustafa in Idlib countryside.
Thus, it has increased to 174 citizens including 49 children and 35 citizen women, the number of the citizens whose death has been documented by the Syrian Observatory in the bombardment by the warplanes and helicopters, and by the shelling by the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them on areas in Idlib countryside, since the 25th of December until today the 29th of January 2018, while tens of others were injured with permanent disabilities and sever injuries, which may increase the death toll, and the shelling also caused destruction of hundreds of houses and shops and properties, in addition to the damage to destruction in the infrastructure of areas which witnessed heavy shelling, in Idlib, Hama and Aleppo.
