About 105 airstrikes target the countryside of Idlib and the death toll increases today to about 180, including 86 children and women within 35 days of escalation
Idlib province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: warplanes carried out renewed raids targeting areas in Idlib province, where the warplanes carried out 4 raids on the eastern outskirts of Idlib city, causing material damage, and no information about casualties so far, while airstrikes targeted areas in the town of Sarqeb in the eastern countryside of Idlib, and warplanes shelled areas in the countryside of Ma’aret al-Nou’man in the southern part of the countryside of Idlib, while they targeted places in the town of Khan al-Sobul, causing material damage, and no information about injuries, rising to more than 104, the number of airstrikes that targeted the city of Idlib and the cities and vilages of Khan Shaykhon , Jerjenaz Saraqeb, Abu Dhuhur, Ma’ret Harma, Qatra, Al-Barsam farwan, HEesh, the vincity of the villages of Joubas and Sheikh Idris, Mardikh, Al-Ghadka, Jerjenaza, Ma”asran and Khan Sobol. The heavy airstrikes of warplanes since the dawn of Monday the 28th of Janaury resulted in the death of 21 martyrs, including 2 women and 6 children, and the martyrs are 14 civilians who were killed by airstrikes on Al-BatataMarket north of Saraqeb, 5 martyrs (a woman and 4 of her children) who were killed in aerial shelling on Ma’asaran, and a woman and a child were killed in shelling that targeted Al-Ihsan hospital in Saraqeb, and the death toll is still expected to increase due to the presence of several injured in serious conditions, and information about other martyrs were reported.Thus, it has increased to 179 citizens including 50 children and 36 citizen women, the number of the citizens whose death has been documented by the Syrian Observatory in the bombardment by the warplanes and helicopters, and by the shelling by the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them on areas in Idlib countryside, since the 25th of December until today the 29th of January 2018, while tens of others were injured with permanent disabilities and sever injuries, which may increase the death toll, and the shelling also caused destruction of hundreds of houses and shops and properties, in addition to the damage to destruction in the infrastructure of areas which witnessed heavy shelling, in Idlib, Hama and Aleppo.
