Idlib province witnesses more killings by warplanes which carried out a new massacre killing 8 persons at least in Ariha city in the southern countryside of the province

Explosions rocked again the southern section of Idlib countryside, as a part of the continuation of the bombardment by warplanes and helicopters affiliated to the regime and Russia, where the aircraft targeted areas in Ariha city by successive strikes, which resulted in a massacre that killed 8 persons until now, and injured others with varying severity, and the death toll is expected to increase due to the presence of injured cases in serious conditions and the presence of missing people, in which the strikes which targeted a market in the city, resulted in a destruction in the place of the bombardment, and the warplanes also targeted areas in Khan Shaykhun city in the same countryside, which caused more material damage to the city which witnessed intensive shelling during the past few days and weeks, and the today’s bombardment on Khan Shaykhun city, resulted in the fall of injuries, also the warplanes targeted areas in Harran village in the eastern countryside of Idlib, and other areas in Sheikh Idris village, which caused material damage, without information about casualties.

And the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published this morning, that the area is witnessing heavy flight of these aircraft, in conjunction with violent strikes on areas east of Idlib, which targeted areas in the vicinity and the outskirts of Saraqeb town and Maarrat Al-Nu’man city as well as the area of the International Highway, and the helicopters also dropped explosive barrels on places in Kafr Amim village in the area, without information about causing casualties so far, while Idlib countryside witnessed silence from after the midnight of Monday – Tuesday and until today morning, in the terms of the aerial and rocket shelling, except two airstrikes carried out by the warplanes on places in Al-Khwaiyn village and its outskirts in the south-eastern countryside of Idlib, as well as sporadic rocket shelling which targeted the western countryside of Jisr Al-Shughur, while it has increased to 179 citizens including 50 children and 36 citizen women, the number of the citizens whose death has been documented by the Syrian Observatory in the bombardment by the warplanes and helicopters, and by the shelling by the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them on areas in Idlib countryside, since the 25th of December until today the 29th of January 2018, while tens of others were injured with permanent disabilities and sever injuries, which may increase the death toll, and the shelling also caused destruction of hundreds of houses and shops and properties, in addition to the damage to destruction in the infrastructure of areas which witnessed heavy shelling, in Idlib, Hama and Aleppo.
