With the continuation of the escalation on the area…the regime forces and the warplanes and helicopters bomb 15 towns and villages in the east, the south and the west of Idlib province

Idlib Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the aerial and ground operation is still continuing on Idlib countryside, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored that the warplanes bombed areas in Tell Touqan by explosive barrels, while the warplanes carried out tens of strikes targeting areas in Maasaran town, Sheikh Idris village, Tell Sultan, Ras Al-Ayn, Tawil, Halib, Dhahabiyah, Brays, Al-Ghadqa, Saraqeb, Islamin and Maar Hatat, in conjunction with artillery shelling by the regime forces on areas in Bdama town and Al-Hambushiyyah village in the western countryside of Jisr Al-Shughur, and other places in the nearby village of Baksraba, which resulted in the fall of injuries.

And the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published during the past few hours, that the aircraft targeted areas in Ariha city by successive strikes, which resulted in a massacre that killed 8 persons until now, and injured others with varying severity, and the death toll is expected to increase due to the presence of injured cases in serious conditions and the presence of missing people, in which the strikes which targeted a market in the city, resulted in a destruction in the place of the bombardment, and the warplanes also targeted areas in Khan Shaykhun city in the same countryside, which caused more material damage to the city which witnessed intensive shelling during the past few days and weeks, and the today’s bombardment on Khan Shaykhun city, resulted in the fall of injuries, also the warplanes targeted areas in Harran village in the eastern countryside of Idlib, and other areas in Sheikh Idris village, which caused material damage, without information about casualties, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also published this morning, that the area is witnessing heavy flight of these aircraft, in conjunction with violent strikes on areas east of Idlib, which targeted areas in the vicinity and the outskirts of Saraqeb town and Maarrat Al-Nu’man city as well as the area of the International Highway, and the helicopters also dropped explosive barrels on places in Kafr Amim village in the area, without information about causing casualties so far, while Idlib countryside witnessed silence from after the midnight of Monday – Tuesday and until today morning, in the terms of the aerial and rocket shelling, except two airstrikes carried out by the warplanes on places in Al-Khwaiyn village and its outskirts in the south-eastern countryside of Idlib.
