Within escalation of aerial targeting more than 96 airstrikes and barrels target areas in the Idlib countryside and leave big number of casualties and injured people

About 195 civilian martyrs were killed in escalation of shelling on areas in the countryside of Idlib within 37 days

Idlib province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:: warplanes carry out more airstrikes with ongoing shelling of barrel bombs on Idlib province, where it rose to more than 96, the number of airstrikes and barrel bombs that targeted the southern and eastern countryside of Idlib, and the airstrieks targeted areas in Ariha, Khan Shaykhon, Salameen, Al-Kanayes, Tel Towkan, Tel Al-Sultan, Al-Ghadfa, Sheikh Idris, Tel Kersian, Kafr Amim, Jerjenaz, Ma’erhatat, Haran, Al-Rafa, resulting in the death of at least 14 persons in Ariha including unknown dead bodies, and left several people injured, and the warplanes also shelled areas in the vicinity of Al-Dana town and there is information about shelling on gathering aimed at distributing aid to displaced people and there is information about injured people. Thus, it has increased to 193 citizens including 50 children and 36 citizen women, the number of the citizens whose death has been documented by the Syrian Observatory in the bombardment by the warplanes and helicopters, and by the shelling by the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them on areas in Idlib countryside, since the 25th of December until today the 30th of January 2018, while tens of others were injured with permanent disabilities and sever injuries, which may increase the death toll, and the shelling also caused destruction of hundreds of houses and shops and properties, in addition to the damage to destruction in the infrastructure of areas which witnessed heavy shelling, in Idlib, Hama and Aleppo.
