A massacre witnessed in a town in Maarrat Al-Nu’man countryside with intensive shelling targets 15 villages, towns and cities in Idlib and Hama countryside

Idlib province has been witnessing continuous, intensive and violent bombardment, for hours, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored that the warplanes targeted by tens of raids, areas in Kafr Nubl, Maarrat Al-Nu’man, Ghadqa, Jirjinaz, Maar Dibsah, Maasaran, Khan Shaykhun, Tell Mardikh, Khan Al-Sabil, Rakaya and Al-Taman’aa, in conjunction with ongoing shelling on other areas in the countryside of Idlib province, amid renewed bombardment which is targeting areas in Kafr Zita town and other places in Murak town and Al-Sayyad village, and the intensive bombardment and targeting Kafr Nuble town, resulted in a massacre which left 6 civilian casualties so far, including 2 children and a citizen woman, and some of them are of one family, the number of casualties may increase because of the presence of serious injuries and the presence of missing people are still under the rubble of the destruction caused by the bombardment, the regime forces also shelled areas in Maarrat Al-Nu’man city and its outskirts by missiles, which resulted in the death of a young man and information about wounded.

This massacre comes with the continuation of the intensive shelling, in conjunction with the continuation of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and the rebel and Islamic factions to target the positions of the regime forces in the eastern countryside of Idlib, in which they intensively shelled positions of the regime forces in Tell Sultan in the west of Abu Al-Duhur town in the south-eastern countryside of Saraqeb, and information about human losses in the ranks of the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them amid violent clashes between the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them against Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, the Islamic Party of Turkestan and Islamic factions, in the areas of Ras Al-Ayn, Tell Sultan and Talat Al-Syriatel west of Abu Al-Duhur town, which resulted in the advancement by the latter and controlling positions, followed by bombardment by warplanes and helicopters by missiles and explosive barrels on the areas which Tahrir Al-Sham and the Islamic Party of Turkestan controlled, the Islamic factions also targeted a missile base of the regime forces in Al- Katiba Al-Mahjoura area west of Abu Al-Duhur in the eastern countryside of Idlib, which damaged it and resulted in the fall of human losses in the ranks of the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them, whiel the helicopters renewed their bombardment by explosive barrels on areas in Barissa village in the eastern countryside of Idlib, and no information about casualties was reported, the warplanes also bombed areas in Al-Sawami’ (silos) village in the eastern countryside of Idlib, while the warplanes targeted areas in Kafr Nubl town in the eastern countryside of Maarrat Al-Nu’man, while an IED exploded in a vehicle on Sarmada – Al-Dana Road in the northern countryside of Idlib, and no information about injuries was reported.
