After the bloodiest day in the Eastern Ghouta for months…the warplanes begin their new day with a massacre and intensive targeting leaving about 45 casualties and wounded

Rif Dimashq Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the calm did not last long in the besieged Eastern Ghouta of Damascus, as the regime forces interrupted it through renewed aerial and artillery shelling, as a part of the killing which left more human losses in the besieged Ghouta, which witnessed yesterday Tuesday the 6^th of February 2018, one of the highest death toll of civilians in weeks, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored today Wednesday the 7^th of February 2018, bombardment which targeted the Eastern Ghouta after the morning artillery shelling which targeted Al-Nashabiyah town in Al-Marj area, in which the warplanes targeted areas in Zamalka city the stronghold of Al-Rahman Corps, which resulted in the injury of 16 persons at least including children and citizen women, and the warplanes also carried out raids targeting areas in Beit Sawa town and other places in Harasta city, while areas in Hamouriyah city, were targeted by raids which resulted in a massacre leaving 7 casualties and 15 wounded with varying severity, and the number of casualties may increase because of the presence of serious injuries, while the regime forces shelled areas in Douma city by several artillery shells, followed by a raid by the warplanes which targeted areas in Douma city, which caused material damage, without information about casualties, and the warplanes targeted areas in Arbin city by about 5 raids, which resulted in the injury of 4 citizens.

And the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published few hours ago, that the death of more citizens affected by the injury they had, resulted in increasing the number of the civilian casualties who were killed yesterday the 6^th of February 2018, where it has increased to 80 persons at leas including 19 children and 20 citizen women, the number of the casualties who were killed yesterday, and the casualties are: 31 citizens including 8 children and 9 citizen women who were killed in a massacre carried out by warplanes in Douma city, the stronghold of Jaysh Al-Islam, 13 citizens including 4 children and 4 citizen women who were killed in a massacre carried out by warplanes in Arbin city, 7 citizens including a child were killed in a massacre carried out in Kafr Batna town by bombardment, 7 citizens including a child and 3 citizen women were killed in airstrikes on areas in Zamalka city, 5 citizens including 2 children and a woman were killed in bombardment on Mesraba town, 5 citizens including a child and a citizen woman were killed in raids on Hamouriyah city, 4 citizens including a child and a citizen woman were killed in raids on areas in Madyara, , 4 citizens including a woman killed by bombardment by warplanes on areas in Saqba city, 3 citizens was killed in an airstrike which targeted Hazza town, and a child was killed in the raids by warplanes on Harasta city, the bombardment also resulted in the injury of 165 citizens at least with varying severity, including tens of children and citizen women, and the number of casualties may increase because of the presence of serious injuries and the presence of missing people under the rubble of the destruction caused by the bombardment on the Eastern Ghouta.
