The renewed targeting to the capital Damascus and its districts by shells leaves more casualties and wounded

Explosions were heard in areas in the middle of the capital Damascus and its districts, caused by targeting them by more shells, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the fall of shells on places in Jaramana area in the outskirts of the capital, which killed a child and injured another one, also shells fell on areas in Dahiyat al-Assad opposite Harasta city in the outskirts of the capital, while shells fell on places in Al-Qazzaz area, which resulted in the injury of 7 persons with varying severity.

And the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published yesterday that shells fell on Al-Abasyeen area and Al-Mazra’a neighborhood as well as areas in Jaramana District, and the shells resulted in the death of 2 brother children and the injury of 7 others with varying severity, in Jaramana area, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published today that more explosions rocked areas in the middle of the capital Damascus, caused by the fall of shells on places in Al-Mazza area, which caused more material damage, and resulted in the injury of about 5 persons at least, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also monitored the fall of shells on places in Dahiyat al-Assad and Jaramana city, as well as other areas in Bab Touma neighborhood, where 3 persons were killed in Bab Touma, as well as the injury of about 10 others including a citizen woman and a child under the age of eighteen, and the number of casualties may increase because of the presence of serious injuries.

Thus, it has increased to 81 including 12 children and 11 women, the number of those who were killed as result of the fall of shells and have been documented by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights since this escalation started on the 16th of November 2017, while it has increased to more than 443 persons who were injured in these daily targeting, including tens of children and citizen women, some of whom have seriously injured and have permanent disability, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also monitored the continuation of the poor health condition of some of the injured people, which may raise the death toll, in which the shells have targeted since the 16th of November 2017, the areas of Al-Dawila, Al-Sawika, Al-Fahama Khalid bin al-Walid Street, and other areas in Old Damascus, as well as places in Al-Zablatany, Al-Qassaa, Bab Touma, Al-Mujtahed, al-Fayhaa, Al-Abasyeen, Al-Mayadeen, Seba’ Baharat, Aish Al-Warawar, Jermana, Dahyat Al-Assad, Military Teshereen Hospital and other places in the center of the capital, which caused material damage to the property of the citizens, buildings and shops in the places where these shells had fallen.
