The death of more citizens raises the number of casualties in 7 cities and towns in the besieged Eastern Ghouta to 23 including 8 children and citizen women

Rif Dimashq Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the shelling renewed on the Eastern Ghouta, where the regime forces shelled areas in Jisrayn town by 10 shells which targeted areas in the town, while it has increased to 6, the number of raids which targeted areas in Harasta city in the Eastern Ghouta, while the number of civilian casualties in the besieged Eastern Ghouta is increasing as a result of the death of more citizens, where it has increased to 23 persons at least including 3 children and 5 citizen women, the number of casualties who were killed today Thursday the 8th of February 2018, they are 8 citizens including a child and 2 citizen women who were killed in a massacre carried out in Jisrayn town, 5 citizens including a child and a reliever who were killed in raids on Arbin city,4 citizens including 3 women who were killed in bombardment on the area between Madyara and Mesraba, 3 citizens they are 2 children and a citizen woman were killed in raids on areas in Saqba city, 2 citizens were killed in raids on the towns of Beit Sawa and Hazza, and a citizen was killed in raids on Zamalka, and the number of casualties may increase because of the presence of more than 120 injuries, some of them have seriously wounded, and the rescue teams are still working on extracting the stuck people under the rubble of the destruction caused by the bombardment, amid difficulties to save the lives of the injuries as a result of the lack of medicine and equipment needed as well as the increase of the number of injuries greatly.

Thus, the death toll has increased to 429 citizens including 106 children and 76 citizen women, who have been killed since the 29th of December 2017, as a result of targeting the Eastern Ghouta by hundreds of raids and hundreds of artillery and rocket strikes, and the casualties are 306 citizens including 85 children, 64 citizen women and a male nurse, they were killed in raids by the warplanes on areas in Harasta city controlled by the Islamic movement of Ahrar Al-Sham and raids on Madyara town as well as the cities of Saqba, Hamouriyah, Douma and Arbin, and 123 citizens including 21 children and 12 citizen women and 2 male nurses were killed by artillery and rocket shelling targeted areas in Beit Sawa town, the cities of Harasta, Hamuriya, Douma and Arbin as well as the towns of Kafr Batna, Mesraba, Al-Nashabiyah, Otaya and Jisrayn.

And the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published today that with the death of more citizens in the Eastern Ghouta, it rose 150 persons at leas including 38 children and 26 citizen women, the number of the casualties whose death was documented during the past 72 hours, by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, as a result of the intensive aerial, rocket and artillery shelling on the Eastern Ghouta, where most of the citizens were killed in the airstrikes which targeted the Eastern Ghouta, as the SOHR documented yesterday the death of 38 citizens including 12 children and 2 citizen women, who were killed in the massacres in the Eastern Ghouta in Douma, Hamouriyah, Beit Sawa and Arbin, including 4 citizens who were killed in artillery shelling on the Eastern Ghouta, while the SOHR monitored on Tuesday the death of  81 persons at leas including 19 children and 20 citizen women, who were killed in raids on Hamouriyah, Douma, Arbin, Zamalka, Kafr Batna, Harasta, Hazza, Mesraba, Madyara and Saqba, while the SOHR documented on the 5th of February 2018, the death of 31 citizens including 7 children and 4 citizen women, who were killed in Hamouriyah, Douma, Arbin, Hazza, Zamalka and Beit Sawa, in bombardment which targeted these areas including a woman was killed in artillery shelling.
