4 days after they reached Idlib countryside… hundreds of ISIS members, its wounded and their families surrender to Tahrir Al-Sham and the factions operating in the province
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned from a number of intersected sources, that hundreds of members of the “Islamic State” organization with injuries accompanied them, surrendered to the factions operating in Idlib, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights; a number of members of the organization reached 400 members at least with their families and tens of wounded accompanied them, surrendered to the factions operating in the countryside of Idlib province, and the sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory that this surrender took place in Al-Khwaiyn area which the organization controlled yesterday in the south-eastern countryside of Idlib, where the past 4 days witnessed violent clashes between the organization against Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and the rebel and Islamic factions, since the organization arrived in the area through a corridor granted by the regime forces from the southern countryside of Aleppo and the north-eastern countryside of Hama to the south-eastern countryside of Idlib.
And the south-eastern countryside of Idlib witnessed violent clashes between the both parties on Saturday the 10 of February 2018, and the violent clashes caused significant casualties in the ranks of both parties, where 6 fighters at least of the factions and Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham were killed, and 15 members at least of the Organization were killed in the clashes which were concentrated in the vicinity of Umm al-Khalakhil area in the southeastern countryside of Idlib, and with more casualties, it rose to 47 at least, the number of members of the “Islamic State” Organization who have been killed since the 10th of February 2018, in the southeastern countryside of Idlib, they are 15 members were killed in clashes against Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham and the factions, and 32 were killed in clashes against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, where the Syrian observatory published hours ago that after the loss of more than 80 villages by the “Islamic State” organization in the besieged enclave in Idlib and Hama provinces, and its withdrawal of it to be controlled by the regime forces with their allies in exchange of granting ISIS a corridor to the southeastern section of Idlib province, and after series of clashes against Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham and the working factions of Idlib countryside, a group of “Islamic State” organization clashed with the regime forces during its arrival to the southeastern countryside of Idlib and after its withdrawal from the northeastern and southern countryside of Aleppo, to the clash with the regime forces and its allies in the southeastern sector adjacent to the areas in which ISIS has rearranged its ranks, where a group of ISIS attacked the regime forces in places between ISIS-controlled area and the strategic area of Abu Dali (for the regime).
While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored that the regime forces and their allies of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities, managed on the 9th of February 2018, to impose their control over the entire besieged circle within Hama and Aleppo countryside, thus, they imposed their control over more than 80 villages during a week of advancement which accompanied by successive withdrawals and collapses of the members of the organization, where intersected sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that the withdrawal of the organization took place through undeclared deal, represented by the withdrawal of the organization completely from the villages of the southern countryside of Aleppo and the north-eastern countryside of Hama, in return for securing a withdrawal line that leads the organization to the south-eastern countryside of Idlib, specifically Umm Elkhalayel and Al-Lubaydah areas in the south-east of Idlib province, thus, the organization’s fight turned from being against the regime forces and their allies, to a direct fight against Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and the rebel and Islamic factions operating in Idlib countryside, where the fighting which the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored that it raged in early morning of Friday the 9th of February 2018, is accompanied by the flight of warplanes whose identity is not known whether they were Russian or related to the regime, which target the clash areas between the both parties in conjunction with bombing areas in the southern countryside of Idlib, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the organization managed to advance in the area in the south-eastern countryside of Idlib.
