The regime forces interrupt the silence of the besieged Ghouta by artillery shelling by more than 20 shells which targeted Douma city killing and injuring about 15 citizens

Rif Dimashq Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the regime forces returned to interrupt the silence which lasted from the midnight of Monday – Tuesday, where the regime forces targeted Douma city by more than 20 shells, which resulted in the death and the injury of a large number of citizens, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of 3 citizens including 2 children, while more than 10 other citizens were injured with varying severity, and the number of casualties may increase because of the presence of serious injuries.

And the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published today that silence has been prevailing the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus, since after the midnight of Monday – Tuesday, in which this silence came after targeting by 4 shells which hit Douma city, and which caused material damage, without information about casualties, amid an absence of warplanes from the skies of the Eastern Ghouta, since the evening of Sunday, after they carried out raids on areas in it, where this calm and the absence of the warplanes contributed to stop killing the people of the besieged Ghouta, as 15 of them were killed including 3 children and 2 citizen women and have been documented by the Syrian Observatory since the warplanes returned in the afternoon of the 10th of February 2018, to the Eastern Ghouta and the start of shelling by the regime forces on areas in it, after clam lasted for about 24 preceded the return of the shelling, while about 90 persons have been injured since yesterday afternoon and until now.
