After about 72 hours of absence from the besieged Ghouta’s atmospheres, warplanes re-target Jaysh al-Islam’s areas and kill and injure 14 civilians at least
The shelling escalates on areas controlled by Jaysh al-Islam and Rahman Corps in the Eastern Ghouta, and leaves about 40 casualties and injuries today, Sunday.
Rif Dimashq Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: Warplanes carried out again 2 raids on areas in the Eastern Ghouta, where they bombarded the areas of al-Shifonyyah and Ash’ari in the besieged Ghouta, which killed 4 citizens including 3 children, and injured 10 others including children and citizen women, while it rose to 5 including a child, the number of people who were killed in the massacre that was carried out by regime forces’ targeting for Mesraba town, which is controlled by Jaysh al-Islam, raising the number of persons who were killed today to 10 citizens including 4 children and they are: 5 people including a child were killed in rocket shelling by the regime forces on Mesraba, and 4 including 3 children were killed in aerial bombardment on Ash’ari and al-Shifonyyah Farms, and a man died affected by injuries he had in shelling yesterday on Douma city, while there are still about 29 wounded and some of them are seriously wounded, which may raise the death toll.
These raids on in the Eastern Ghouta a little while ago, were preceded by 2 raids carried out by warplanes today, Sunday, where they targeted areas in Nashabiyah town located in al-Marj area, the entire aerial bombardment and raids today, Sunday, the 18th of February 2018 have targeted areas controlled by Jaysh al-Islam, and they considered the first raids that targeted the eastern Ghouta after the absence of warplanes in the eastern Ghouta since about 72 hours ago, where the last raids were carried out by warplanes on Arbin city and Al-Shifonyyah town and Douma city on the 15th of the same month, which caused a massacre back then in Douma city and killed 6 citizens including 2 girls and 2 women, and also injured others.
