Tensions increases between Nour al-Din al-Zenki and Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham and ignites the clashes between them in the western countryside of Aleppo

Aleppo Province, the Syrian Observatory for human rights: after the increase of tensions and alerts between Nour al-Din al-Zenki Movement and Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham, the Syrian Observatory for Human Right monitored the eruption of clashes in the western countryside of Aleppo between both parties, where clashes are taking place in the areas of Ewijel, Kafrnaha and the outskirts of Urem al-Kubra town, and the clashes extended to the outskirts of Darat Azza town, amid targeting operations by medium and heavy weapons between both parties, which killed a civilian at Jam’eyyat al-Rahhal in Kafrnaha area, where each party is trying to advancement at the expense the other party, amid information about captives between both parties.

These clashes came in the wake of tension between Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham against Nour al-Din al-Zenki Movement, which pushed the latter to unite with the Islamic Movement of Ahrar Al-Sham under the new name “Hayyaat Tahrir Syria”,  and the sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory that this union aims to block any military action by Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham against Nour al-Din al-Zenki Movement, after the tensions and alerts in areas of Tahrir al-Sham and the contact areas with Nour al-Din al-Zenki Movement.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published yesterday, Saturday, that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored tension in the western countryside of Aleppo, between two of the largest factions operating in the area, as a result of opening fire by a patrol of Nour al-Din al-Zenki Movement, on a vehicle as it did not stop at the checkpoint after the midnight of Thursday – Friday, it was revealed then that an Arab commander of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham was in the vehicle with his wife, where the commander was “the education official in the Department of Displaced Affairs” and held several military positions including the supervision of training those who joined the ranks of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, while his wife is still in a serious condition, and the sources asserted to the Syrian Observatory that the commander is Abu Ayman Al-Masri and he is Egyptian, and one of the commanders of the global Al-Qaeda.

It is noteworthy that several battalions and brigades operating in the western countryside of Aleppo and the northern countryside of Idlib adjacent to the western countryside of Aleppo; have announced about a month ago, their integration with Nour al-Din al-Zenki Movement, the largest force in the western countryside of Aleppo, where the Syrian Observatory monitored the integration of Thowwar al-Sham Battalions, Bayareq al-Islam Brigade, Ansar al-Din Battalion, Abu al-Hasan battalion and al-Sheikh Othman Battalion, have merged with Nour al-Din al-Zenki Movement through statements by the aforementioned factions, and the this area in Idlib and Aleppo countryside witnessed violent fighting previously between Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham against Nour al-Din al-Zenki Movement, which left tens of casualties in the ranks of the both parties.
