The number of casualties and wounded escalates in the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus with the continuation of the insane shelling by the regime forces on cities and towns in it

Rif Dimashq Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the aerial, artillery and rocket shelling by the regime forces and their warplanes and helicopters as well as the warplanes of their ally, Russia, is continuing, targeting the besieged Eastern Ghouta of Damascus, in which the area does not almost calm down, as intense and insane strikes rage it over again, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored that the increase of today’s human losses in the besieged Ghouta, as it has increased to 10 at least including 2 children, the number of casualties whose death was documented today by the SOHR in bombardment by 2 explosive barrels on areas in Kafr Batna town, also the regime forces targeted Kafr Batna town by more than 90 missiles which targeted areas in the town, while the SOHR monitored during this morning, bombardment by warplanes by 2 raids which targeted areas in Saqba city preceded by shelling by more than 105 missiles fired by the regime forces on the towns of Otaya, Hazrma and Al-Nashabiyah in Al-Marj area, while the helicopters bombed areas in Arbin city by 4 explosive barrels, followed by shelling by 2 batches of missiles on the same city, also warplanes believed to be Russian, raided areas in Hazza town and Zamalka city, while the regime forces shelled Otaya, Hazrma and Al-Nashabiyah after the midnight of Tuesday – Wednesday, by about 100 shells and missiles, and the renewed insane shelling resulted, in addition to the 10 casualties, in the injury of 20 other citizens in Arbin, Ein Tarma, Kafr Batna, and Saqba, and the death toll is expected to increase due to the presence missing people under the rubble of the destruction caused by the shelling as well as the presence of injured cases in serious conditions.

And the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published this morning that a man died affected by the injury he had as a result of bombardment by warplanes on areas in Kafr Batna town yesterday, raising to 107 including 19 children and 16 woman, the number of civilian people who were killed and documented by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights yesterday as a result of the aerial and rocket shelling on Nashabiyah, KafrBatna, Otaya, Arbin, Zamalka, Hamouriyyah, Mesraba, Ashari, raising in turn the death toll to 251 including 58 children and 42 woman, the number of civilian people who have been killed and documented by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights since the night of Sunday the 18th of February 2018, due to the intense and insane shelling and bombardment in the Eastern Ghouta; by hundreds of barrel bombs, missiles, raids, shells, missiles and artillery shell, also the shelling has injured more than 1200 civilians, including tens of children and women, some of whom are still in serious situations, and others have had permanent disabilities.
