IS arrests 8 people and seizes houses of 4 commanders in Deir Ezzor

 

Deir Ezzor Province: SOHR had been informed that IS had arrested 8 people from the town of al- Asharah in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, including notables and elders from an Arab tribe.

 

Reliable sources informed SOHR that IS informed families of a commander in al- Nusra Front, an emir in an Islamic movement, a commander of a rebel brigade and a leading  figure in an Islamic brigade that they have a deadline of 24 hours to vacate their houses, and that IS has seized these houses and considered them as “its property” after the expiry of the deadline set for evacuation. The resources confirmed to SOHR that the four commanders died in clashes with the regime forces earlier.

 

SOHR also knew that IS have established a “Sharia course” of 15 days for the female teachers in al- Rawda Mosque in the city of al- Mayadin.

 

A man from the village of Mrat in the eastern countryside died due to the regime shelling on the village.

 

A loud explosion was heard in the city of Deir Ezzor followed by violent clashes in the neighborhood of al- Sena’ah and Hwayjet Sakar area between the regime forces and IS.
