Violent explosions rocked areas in the middle of the capital Damascus, caused by targeting Salah Al-Din area in Rukn Al-Din neighborhood by one shell at least which resulted in the death and the injury tens of persons, in conjunction with the fall of 2 shells on areas in the Old Damascus and Baghdad Street, also shells targeted areas in Dahiyat al-Assad, as well as other places in Al-Qosur neighborhood and the areas of Barzeh and Esh Al-Warawar, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of 2 persons who were killed in the fall of shells on Rukn Al-Din area, while more than 47 other persons were injured with varying severity, most of whom were injured in Rukn Al-Din area, and the death toll is expected to increase due to the presence of injured cases in serious conditions, and several shells targeted this morning areas in the vicinity of Abbasiyyin area, and the area of Al-Mazzeh 86, which caused material damage, without information about casualties.

Thus, it has increased to 120 persons at least including 18 children and 14 citizen women, who were killed as a result of the fall of these shells since the beginning of escalation on the capital Damascus and its suburbs on the 16th of November, and the SOHR documented the injury of more than 610 persons who were injured in these daily targeting during 3 consecutive months, including tens of children and citizen women, some of whom have seriously injured and have permanent disability, and the SOHR also monitored the continuation of the poor health condition of some of the injured people, which may raise the death toll.
