The fall of shells renews on several areas in the center of Damascus and its outskirts

More explosions were heard in the capital Damascus and its suburbs caused by the fall of more shells, where the shells fell on places in al-Dwel’a area and on places in al-Abbasiyyin area, which caused injuries, while tens of shells targeted during the daylight hours areas in Damascus city, its outskirts and suburbs, which caused the death of one person and wounded several others, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published hours ago that the shells continue to target in the middle of the capital Damascus and other areas in its vicinity as well as places in its nearby districts, controlled by the regime forces, where shells fell successively on areas in the neighborhoods of Sheikh Raslan, Bab Touma, Al-Qaymariya, the Old Damascus, Baghdad Street, the Governorate Square, Sabaa Bahrat, Jaramana, Al-Wafedin Camp and Dahiyat al-Assad, which resulted in the fall of wounded and caused material damage to the property of the citizens, while the SOHR published this morning, that the rocket shelling is continuing on areas in the middle of Damascus and other places in its outskirts and districts, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored today morning the 24th of February 2018, the fall of shells on areas in Baghdad Street and the squares of the governorate and Sabaa Bahrat in the middle of Damascus, which caused further material damage, and confirmed information about the fall of injuries.

And the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented yesterday the death of 2 persons (a doctor and a child), and the injury of 58 others with varying severity, as a result of the targeting to Rukn Al-Din neighborhood and other areas in the middle of the capital and in its districts, raising to 121 persons at least including 18 children and 14 citizen women, who were killed as a result of the fall of these shells since the beginning of escalation on the capital Damascus and its suburbs on the 16th of November, and the SOHR documented the injury of more than 610 persons who were injured in these daily targeting during 3 consecutive months, including tens of children and citizen women, some of whom have seriously injured and have permanent disability, and the SOHR also monitored the continuation of the poor health condition of some of the injured people, which may raise the death toll.
