Renewed escalation of the regime forces by firing several shells in the northern countryside of Hama
Hama province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:: The regime forces continue targeting areas in the northern countryside of Hama, which is witnessing daily renewed shelling. The SOHR monitored the regime forces targeting by several shells areas in the towns of KAfrzita and Al-Latmnah in the northern countryside of Hama. There are several shells fired at areas in the villages of Al-Zakata and Al-Sayyad in the northern countryside, and until the moment there is no injuries reported, and areas in the village of Qaston and other places in Sahel Al-Ghab in the northwestern countryside of Hama were shelled by the regime forces, and no information about causalities. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published yesterday that areas in the northern countryside of Hama witness the continuation of shelling by the regime forces, where they renewed the targeting of places in Kafr Zita area, which caused the death of 3 citizens and injured others, while the rebel factions targeted areas in Salhab town by several rocket shells which killed 3 persons including a child, and others were injured, this exchange of shelling comes within the escalation that areas in the northern countryside of Hama have been witnessing over the last 24 hours shelling by the regime forces and warplanes, which killed yesterday 4 citizens including a child and a woman, as a result of the raids and artillery shelling on al-Lataminah area, also areas in Sahl Al-Ghab witnessed shelling by the regime forces targeted its villages, which damaged property of citizens, while the northern countryside of Hama witnessed in the past weeks and months intense artillery and aerial bombardment by the regime forces, warplanes, helicopters as well as shelling by the Russian warplanes, which caused more destruction to the infrastructure and further damage to the property of citizens, also regime forces’ controlled areas witnessed shelling by the factions which caused human losses and material damage.
