Shells target areas in the countryside of Daraa with shelling of the regime forces on areas in the city
Daraa province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:: violent explosions rocked the northern countryside of Daraa, resulted from the fall of shells on areas in Izraa city, which is controlled by the regime forces, and there is no information about causalities, and areas in Daraa Al-Balad in the city of Daraa were shelled by the regime forces, in conjunction with shelling on areas in Da’el town in the central countryside of Daraa, while the regime forces opened their heavy machine guns at areas in the town of Al-Na’ema, and no information about causalities.
The SOHR published hours ago that the Syrian South still witnesses escalated violations to the valid truce within the American – Russian – Jordanian agreement, applied since the 9th of July 2017, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored shelling by the regime forces, through which they targeted areas in Daraa Al-Balad in Daraa city, and other areas in Tell Al-Mutawaq in the south of Inkhil town, as well as other places in Msikah village and Al-Khawabi area located in Al-Lajat area east of Daraa, while the factions targeted by several rocket shells, positions of the regime forces in the Regiment 175 and the Brigade 12 in Izra’a area in conjunction with the fall of shells on places in Izra’a city, and no information about casualties was reported yet.
And the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 21st of February 2018, that the intensive fall of shelling is continuing by the factions which target neighborhoods controlled by the regime forces and the area of the security square in Daraa city, in addition to targeting Izra’a city controlled by the regime forces in Daraa countryside, where the factions targeted the both cities by more than 27 rocket shells until now, which resulted in the fall of injuries, which the regime forces shelled again areas in Daraa Al-Balad in Daraa city, and the shelling also targeted places in the towns of Da’el and Al-Harak in Daraa countryside, which resulted in the death of a citizen woman in Da’el.
